Good morning friends :)
Sunshine!! At least here... it's beautiful and makes for such a cheery Monday. I know, every day "is the day the Lord has made" but I find myself much more thankful for sunny days... ;)
I had a bit of a panic a few days ago... I realized I hadn't been reviewing my previous verses as faithfully and when I started to go over them, I was dismayed at the many mind-blanks and stumbling encountered! It only reiterated to me the importance of frequent review.
And if any of you have a trick on how to remember where verses are found - please share. This has always been a problem for me and continues to be... but I guess it is like anything else... it will come with practice. Practice. PRACTICE. :)
I'm so glad you're still on this journey with me... let's keep going strong! By our repetition and meditation on these scriptures, we're allowing the Holy Spirit to mould our thoughts... and as Romans 8:6 says, the "mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace." It does come down to a choice... let's CHOOSE LIFE.
Time to share your verse :)

Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven. Matthew 5:16 NASB
Janna - GTA
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers — the moon and the stars you set in place—
what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them?
Ps 8:3,4 NLT
Brittany - sarnia on - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Sarah - Oil Springs ON -
If Ye then be risen with christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye appear with him in glory.
Colossians 3:1-4

Sandra, Doha, Qatar. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall recveive anything of the Lord. James 1:5-7 KJV (BTW, I had ONE verse from a different version and it's the only one since Jan 1 that I can't remember. Funny that some people can memorize other versions but I just can't! KJV has such a flow to it!)
Beth R, Palapye - KJV- John15 v 15 and 16 -Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

"To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power" 2 Thes 1:11
I know what you mean, Janna! I'm struggling to remember each and every one as well!
