Aug 15 - Verse 16

Good evening friends,

My apologies for the late post. We are enjoying a family visit from the West Coast grandparents, so the busy days are zipping by.

I'm still taking August as a month for review and am thankful to report that I HAVE been reviewing. ;) *Thank you accountability partners!*

It was great getting some of the comments on the last post from those who are continuing to plug away at memorizing their verses. You're doing great - whatever pace you're taking. Keep it up!

I hope you enjoy the last few weeks of summer. Make the most of it! :)

I have decided to review this time. Going over them, 2 days ago I knew I needed some time on them... and I enjoyed them all again:). We are in the middle of moving, as well, so think this will be better. It IS good to be accountable to others in this.

Well I am embarrassed that I have signed in for roll-call for a few months, and I don't even have the responsibilities that most of you have to work around. So, I'm trying to make up for lost time and am working through Ephesians 2:1-8 ESV
So if there be any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation of the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus. Who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
